As the SWFL Fishing Club was founded with the mission and desire to attract/retain ACTIVE members of the boating/fishing community and with a growing membership base, we want to make sure we don't loose touch and focus with our members.
As a club, we hold 11 regular monthly meetings, 3 free club sponsored tournaments, 3 beach raft up events and an end of the year Fishmas Party. That's a minimum of 18 club sponsored events for the low cost of $50 for new members, $30 for renewing.
For consideration for membership renewal, at bare minimum, members will be required to attend a minimum of 3 regular monthly meetings and attend at least 1 of our sponsored events. We want you to be as active as possible! Meet new members of the club! Go fishing with them! Share your reports! The more information we share with each other- tips, tricks, fishing reports, etc- the better we all become as anglers!
Membership to the SWFL FISHING CLUB WILL BE CAPPED AT (200??) Memberships. Our Membership will be considered at capacity once XXX memberships have been reached. Memberships will be accepted on a first come first serve basis barring final approval from the board. Once membership is full, all new applicants will be placed on a waiting list in the order applications are received. When a vacancy becomes available, we will reach out to the applicants on the waiting list. This also makes it imperative current members renew in a timely manner as membership will be considered revoked after the 30 day grace period following your memberships expiration.
